It is a sweet-shaped cake, typical of Castile, typical of the province of Cuenca, traditionally made from a dough made with almonds, breadcrumbs and toasted, fine spice and cooked honey, covered with two wafers on both sides of the cake; on other occasions nuts and sometimes sprockets are used instead of almonds.
